IT Outage Causes Flight Cancellations
PSA Airlines, a unit of American Airlines, has suffered an IT outage that resulted in a series of flight cancellations. The Monterey Herald reports here that the outage has lasted for a week and caused over 2,500 flight cancellations. The Charlotte Observer reports here that the outage was caused by hardware failure at PSA’s Dayton OH headquarters.
