In Memoriam C. L. Liu
Dr. Chung Haung Liu, known to everyone as Dave, has passed. Dr. Liu founded the field of real-time systems with the 1973 paper he wrote with James Layland, as well as many other technical contributions to an impressive range of fields. He also served as President of National Tsing Hua University. A memorial statement can be found here.
