Fabs for Radiation-Hardened Chips

IEEE Spectrum reports here on U. S. investments in two fabs for radiation hardened chips.  Both fabs appear to be silicon rather than silicon carbide. Separately, the Albany Business Review reports here on Cree’s plans to build a silicon carbide fab in New York state.
